March 2007 - Assistance by 3 Tyrolean doctors
A team of three doctors consisting of Prim. Dr. Gertrud Beck (Internal Medicine), Dr. Ursula Kammerlander-Knauer (Anaesthesia) and Dr. Christian Kammerlander (Traumatology) spent 3 weeks in St. Francis Hospital to help in medical and organisational matters.
In their luggage there were urgently needed medicaments - especially Insulin, suture material, operation instruments, sterile gloves etc.
Dr. Gertrud Beck worked in the internal wards and in ICU and gave valuable tips from her great experience as head of an internal department in Austria. In cooperation of anaesthesia and traumatology the two Kammerlanders treated many patients with bone fractures both conservatively and operatively.
