K.S.Circle Vienna: Commitment in Afrika

This time, the atmosphere in the K.S.-Circle was a pre-Christmas, contemplative one. Karin Strahner welcomed Carlo Hasenöhrl as guest speaker. He is a plastic surgeon in Innsbruck and Vienna.
Since 2006 he has been working several times in Ifakara on his own initiative and at his own cost for poor children and adults with burns and mutilations.
In December 2006, Carlo reported for the first time on his Ifakara project. This time he asked for donations to purchase oxygen concentrators and a new X-ray device. The members of the K.S.-Circle responded to his call with pleasure and each of them received a small golden star and thank-you-presents from Estée Lauder, Schlumberger, Pöhl am Naschmarkt and eplus.
