K.S.-Circle „Commitment in Afrika IV“
Karin Strahner invited to a contemplative evening in favour of Ifakara. Our member, Dr. Carlo Hasenöhrl is a plastic surgeon in Innsbruck and Vienna, has been working since 2006 on his own initiative and at his own expense for those people who cannot afford his service but need him urgently: Children in Tanzania with burns and mutilations.
The K.S.Circle has been working for this project since 2006. Last year they collected money for new Oxygen Concentrators and an X-ray device. This year Dr. Hasenöhrl gave an exhaustive account of his latest journey to St. Francis Hospital and of what has changed since then; and he collected for a new solar plant. All sponsors were presented attractive "Thank You" gifts from Schlumberger, Estée Lauder, Zipfer Sparkling, Pöhl am Naschmarkt und Libro!
