A new C-arm for St. Francis Hospital
In St. Francis Hospital lots of bone fractures are treated and operated. For this purpose, a C-arm is a big help. The position of the bone fragments can be checked during the operation. In this way, the duration of operations can be reduced considerably.
A remarkable discount of Siemens comp., generous support of Kremsmüller comp. in Upper Austria, of the Tyrol government and of private donors made it possible to buy a new device and to hand it over to the hospital on 20/09/14.
Pacific Diagnostic Ltd. comp. in Dar es Salaam assembled the gadget and trained the hospital staff to use the C-arm properly.
